The 50 MW CSP Plant in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, was conferred with the Enertia Winners Award for 'Manufacturing, Technology & Enterprise Innovation - Solar Thermal' at the 8th Enertia Awards 2014.

MEIL Green Power Ltd., a subsidiary of MEIL, has delivered the state-of-the-art 50MW Solar Thermal Plant at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh on Build-Own-Operate basis using Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) on a parabolic trough system. This is one of the first and pioneering solar thermal power plants under the National Solar Mission Phase-I aimed at generating large-scale Solar Renewable Energy.

Global Consultant KPMG listed the 10 MW Canal-top Project, built by MEIL in Vadodara, Gujarat, among the Top-100 most innovative infra projects in the World for the year 2015. Only 5 other Indian projects had achieved this distinction for the year.

The Pattiseema project, built by MEIL in Andhra Pradesh state, entered history books as the largest infrastructure project executed in Asia in a record time of 12 months. In the irrigation sector, it is the first river integration project completed in South India. In the ensuing months, the project will provide irrigation water to almost 7 lakh acres in the Rayalaseema region.
MEIL also received a special performance bonus from the state government for completing the project on time.

With the passage of time, MEIL evolved and emerged as the most preferred EPC contractor in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, particularly in irrigation and drinking water segments.

MEIL has executed major tunnelling in PCLIS project in a record time. After achieving this distinction, the company is now renowned for its speed of tunnelling, i.e. length of tunnel executed in a day.

The Madhya Pradesh government appreciated MEIL for completing the Narmada Kshipra Simhastha Link (NKSL) project on time from start to finish by adhering to timelines.

MEIL was appreciated and conferred with a special award by the client PGCL for the timely execution of 400 KV NP Kunta Project.
