Iconic structures for the modern world
The Buildings and Industrial Infrastructure Business Unit creates social and urban assets with a strong emphasis on healthcare campuses, medical education, and environmental infrastructure. Its portfolio spans government medical colleges, high‑rise hospitals and institutional buildings, industrial facilities, and large‑capacity sewage treatment plants that integrate advanced engineering and automation for reliable performance. By combining complex building engineering with sustainable wastewater solutions and a proven track record in multi‑disciplinary project execution, the unit develops spaces that empower communities, strengthen public systems, and drive the nation’s long‑term growth.

The unit focuses on delivering high-quality infrastructure projects that enhance healthcare capacity in India. We are establishing six government medical colleges across Andhra Pradesh and have completed the Machilipatnam, Eluru, and Rajahmundry medical colleges. Construction is currently in progress for the Piduguralla, Ananthapur, and Tirupati medical colleges, further expanding access to medical education and care. Each college includes modern classrooms, laboratories, hostels, and auditoriums. For the Rajahmundry and Eluru colleges, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs) were adopted to shorten construction timelines while maintaining stringent quality and durability standards. These PEBs were manufactured in-house by our group company, ICOMM, showcasing our integrated approach to infrastructure development.
In Telangana, we are constructing India's first government high-rise buildings in health infrastructure. We are expanding the iconic Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) into a multi-tower super-speciality campus. This includes a 14-floor high-rise hospital, one of India's largest by plinth area in the government sector, at 27 lakh cubic metres, built in a single stretch. This 2,000-bed facility will be Telangana's largest super-speciality hospital, comprising four specialised blocks dedicated to emergency care, admissions, hospital core functions, and outpatient/inpatient services. It will house 42 super-speciality departments, including trauma, oncology, and cardiology. In FY 2025-26 the project has recorded 3 million safe man- hours.
The 1,000-bed Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) in Sanathnagar is another major milestone, nearing completion. With 30 departments supported by operating theatres and laboratories, the hospital is planned as a comprehensive tertiary-care hub. The facility is organised into four blocks that separate the emergency wing, outpatient registration, specialised labs, and administrative/academic areas. Supporting facilities such as a central kitchen, laundry services, a dharamshala, and a mortuary provide essential services for patients, attendants, and staff. The project has achieved a Gold rating under IGBC green building norms.
Furthermore, work is also underway to modernise the iconic Osmania Hospital by constructing a new 2,000-bed facility designed to meet future healthcare needs.
In the education segment, the BU has completed and inaugurated a government school at Rabindra Niketan, and Young India Integrated Residential School building constructions are underway across 22 schools in 6 key districts: Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Medak, Ranga Reddy, and Medchal Malkajgiri.

We have successfully delivered 13 of 15 sewage treatment plants (STPs) of varying capacities in Hyderabad, including key projects like the 212.5 MLD Amberpet STP, 133 MLD Fathenagar STP, 86.5 MLD Nallacheruvu STP, and the 7 MLD Durgam Cheruvu STP. In addition, recent agrement for the construction of 16 more STPs position the business unit as a leading partner in Hyderabad’s mission to achieve 100% sewage treatment. These STPs employ advanced Sequencing Batch Reactor technology, a globally recognised, reliable solution that performs equalisation, aeration, settling, and decanting in a single reactor tank. The treated water is suitable for non-potable reuse in landscaping, gardening, and construction. Each plant is equipped with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems for real-time monitoring and continuous operation, ensuring consistently high performance and efficiency.
As a key partner in India’s clean mobility and advanced manufacturing journey, we are building the biggest electric bus factory for Olectra Greentech Ltd. at the Seetharampur Industrial Park in Telangana. This industrial ecosystem is being developed with end-to-end facilities covering bus and chassis production, battery assembly and storage, and pre-delivery inspection, along with dedicated test tracks. It also includes administrative and training buildings and all civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works. This landmark project represents a major step towards India’s shift to clean mobility while reinforcing an advanced domestic manufacturing base.

A new eco-tourism project in Anantagiri Hills, Telangana, is in its initial stage and adds a new dimension to the vertical’s growing infrastructure footprint.
