In a landmark move toward strengthening India’s energy independence, MEIL Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (MEIL Group), has acquired a 250 MW lignite-based power plant in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu, from Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA).
A 7.3 MW solar power plant has been developed at Elachahalli village, Hosakote Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, under the PM KUSUM-C Scheme. This project was inaugurated by honourable minister of energy, government of Karnataka Sri K. J. George.
