MEIL Group’s Manufacturing Business Unit produces world-class equipment for infrastructure projects. What began as raw ambition has grown into facilities that transform complex blueprints into reliable infrastructure components. Our three state-of-the-art plants in Hyderabad, the Pressure Vessel Division, Heavy Manufacturing Unit, and Pipes and Coating Division, manufacture crucial equipment, including pipes, surge vessels, and heavy storage tanks. These facilities meet global standards like ISO 9001:2015, 14001, 45001, and U/R/NB certifications.
Started in 1999, our Pressure Vessel Division stands as a leader in vessel making. Here, several kinds of equipment are fabricated and used across various sectors. The fabrication of surge protection vessels, heavy lift irrigation machinery, reactors, separators, CI vessels, closed blowdown tanks, PPD vessels, water seal drums, knockout drums, and LP heaters is done here. Fabrication is done adhering to ASME standards, and this unit has U, R, and NB certifications. In this unit, we manufacture storage tanks, crucial in the oil and natural gas industries. We are proud to be a part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat campaign by manufacturing these indigenous products at our division.
The Heavy Manufacturing Unit is a modern, precision-driven facility designed to strengthen MEIL Group's vision of self-reliant engineering. Equipped with advanced CNC machines and best quality processes, the unit supports complex infrastructure needs while contributing to in-house business units and global markets. Its capabilities span a wide product range, including large and complex components machined through vertical turning lathes, horizontal and floor boring machines, precision milling centres, and automated slotting systems.
Here, high-mix, low-volume, and large-size components take shape for hydrocarbons, water infrastructure, heavy engineering, and energy systems. Its impact reaches beyond the factory: certifications like ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and API 4F/7K/8C make it a strategic hub for global markets and partnerships.
This unit is specialised in heavy-duty equipment including Large-scale lift irrigation systems, high-capacity pumping stations, hydrocarbon processing units, and oil and gas drilling operations depend on complex components that must withstand demanding field conditions.
Whether crafting components for drilling rigs or high-capacity pumping systems for lift irrigation, this unit reduces supply chain dependency, offers superior cost efficiency, and ensures self-sufficiency in large-scale projects.
The Pipes and Coating Division is one of India’s few fully automated facilities, specialising in high-quality pipes and advanced coating solutions that form the arteries of modern infrastructure. Using German-engineered Submerged Arc Welded (SAW) helical technology, the division produces robust HDPE and steel pipes designed for longevity. These pipes play a critical role in energy transportation, water supply, and industrial utility networks, ensuring reliable and efficient service. To further enhance durability, the facility is equipped with a 3-Layer Polyethylene (LPE) coating system, providing superior corrosion resistance and long-term performance.
By supporting in-house production, these units reduce timelines, ensure consistent quality, lower costs, and minimise supply chain risks, ultimately delivering self-reliance for national projects.
