Our mission at Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (MEIL Group) has always been simple yet profound: to touch lives through engineering excellence. Our infrastructure connects communities, brings essential services to millions, and lays the path to progress.

Our Growth Legacy

MEIL's growth story began as a small fabrication unit in Hyderabad in 1989 and transformed into a full-fledged enterprise in 2006. We have since grown into one of India's largest unlisted infrastructure companies, with a global reach spanning over 20 countries.

With a direct workforce of over 40,000 and an indirect workforce touching nearly 5 lakh people, we're proud to operate across several Indian states and beyond. Our story is one of innovation, grit, and a commitment to delivering projects that bring about a real difference.

A Global Conglomerate

Today, MEIL stands as a global conglomerate, operating across diverse sectors like irrigation, drinking water, highways, power, and green energy. Over the past 34 years, we have built a reputation for tackling tough projects, including massive irrigation systems, complex tunnels, India's first river-linking initiatives, etc. Our AA+ credit rating reflects our financial strength and reliability.

Engineering Excellence

MEIL prioritises on-time project completion without compromising on quality, adapting to advanced technologies and innovative methods.

From tunnel boring machines to drip irrigation systems, we opt for global best practices in local contexts, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.

We focus on nurturing young talent and developing Indigenous technologies aligning with India's "Aathmanisbhar Bharat" and "Make in India" visions, fostering self-reliance and pride in homegrown innovation.

Iconic Heavy Engineering Projects

Iconic Heavy Engineering Projects

MEIL is at the forefront of building many ambitious heavy engineering projects, delivering iconic infrastructure that powers progress. From constructing the game-changing Zojila Tunnel, which ensures year-round connectivity in the rugged terrains of Jammu and Kashmir, to the Polavaram Project, a lifeline for irrigation and water supply in Andhra Pradesh, MEIL's portfolio is packed with nation-building efforts.

We are also shaping urban mobility through projects like the Mumbai Coastal Road, which eases traffic for millions, and the BKC Underground Railway Station, a cornerstone of Mumbai's metro expansion. Add to that the Machilipatnam Port, which boosts coastal trade, and the Ratle Hydroelectric Project, which will harness the water of the Chenab River to generate clean energy. Through such heavy engineering, MEIL is crafting a stronger, more connected India with every project.
