EveyTrans Pvt. Ltd., A MEIL Group company, has supported the induction of 65 new low-floor electric city buses at the Ranigunj Depot in Hyderabad under the TGSRTC 550 Electric Bus Project. These buses are part of a larger plan to strengthen public transport with clean, modern, and reliable electric mobility, helping Hyderabad move towards a greener future.
The 12-metre low-floor electric buses are equipped with lithium-ion batteries, regenerative braking, intelligent transport systems with real-time tracking, fire detection and suppression systems, automated announcements, digital display boards, USB charging points, and special accessibility features for elderly and differently abled passengers. With a seating capacity of 36 and pneumatic doors, they offer a safer, smoother, and more comfortable travel experience for daily commuters.
These services will run on important routes connecting Secunderabad, Kondapur, Isnapur, Borabanda, Ramayampet, Gachibowli, and Miyapur, improving connectivity across nearly 373 colonies and several high-density corridors in the city. The induction of this new fleet will help reduce emissions and noise, lower operational costs, and support the shared vision of MEIL Group, Evey Trans, and TGSRTC to build a safe, accessible, and environmentally responsible urban transport system for Telangana.
