MEIL is executing a transformative project in Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur and Rajgarh districts. The Kalisindh project is all set to revolutionise farming in the districts.
At the heart of this project lies a colossal pipeline, an engineering marvel that stretches over 100 kilometres. This 4.6 metre wide behemoth serves as the backbone of the project, supplying water to countless hectares of farmland.
This project is much more than a single pipeline that we are executing. It has an intricate network of over 7,000 kilometres of distribution lines – ensuring every region receives its fair share of water.
Gravity might not help water reach the highlands, but our strategically positioned pump houses do. These powerhouses will elevate the water source, nurturing even the most elevated lands.
A dedicated 100-kilometer transmission line, supported by 300 towers, will provide a reliable energy source to keep these pumps running flawlessly. This ensures that the project can work efficiently and effectively, delivering water to farmers when they need it the most.
Kalisindh Phase 2 goes beyond mere construction; it is about empowerment—Aiming to bring water to over 110,000 hectares, MEIL empower farmers, foster agricultural abundance, and pave the way for a brighter future.
