Machilipatnam Port, Andhra Pradesh's ambitious greenfield maritime gateway, is being expertly constructed by MEIL group. This transformative project is progressing at a brisk pace, revitalizing a historic coastal site into a modern hub for seamless cargo handling and economic prosperity.

A critical phase of breakwater protection is advancing steadily: out of 40,000 tetrapods required to fortify the harbor against relentless ocean waves, 30,000 have been precisely laid. The core section is now fully complete, with the remaining 10,000 earmarked for the flanking areas, ensuring robust wave dissipation and safe vessel berthing.

Once completed, the port will feature four advanced berths capable of handling 36 million tonnes annually - including coal, containers, and bulk cargo - with vessels up to 80,000 Deadweight tonnage. This will generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs, catalyze regional trade, enhance supply chain efficiency, and drive sustainable growth for local communities and Andhra Pradesh's economy. MEIL remains dedicated to delivering world-class infrastructure on time, powering India's maritime future.
