Located at Manginapudi in Andhra Pradesh, the Machilipatnam Port is progressing at 65% completion under MEIL's turnkey EPC execution for Phase 1, featuring four berths with 35 MMTPA capacity - expandable to 116 MMTPA across 16 berths. The project includes dredging 56 million cubic meters, constructing north and south breakwaters, installing a quantity of 12 million running meters of vertical drains, and building berths, tetrapods, and soil stabilization structures across 2,000 acres of challenging wetland terrain.
His interactions reinforced alignment on accelerated execution to position Machilipatnam as a major trade gateway, generating employment and driving regional growth.
