MEIL has extended its support to the communities affected by the recent floods in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Our company has donated Rupees 10 Crores to the Chief Minister's Relief Funds of both states.
In Andhra Pradesh, our Managing Director, Krishna Reddy, and Director, Subbaiah, handed over Rupees 5 Crores to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. This donation will help the state provide aid to flood victims and rebuild damaged infrastructure.
In addition to financial support, we partnered with the Hare Krishna Movement India to distribute food to those in need. Our joint effort served close to 4 lakh people over three days, providing essential meals and water bottles.
In Telangana, our Managing Director P V Krishna Reddy, Business Development Director B Srinivas Reddy, and Director of Finance N T Rao handed over a cheque of Rs 5 crores to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
