Today on 20-08-2025 MEIL Foundation, along with Sudha Reddy foundation under the leadership of MEIL Group director Mrs. Sudha Reddy, has officially announced the 2nd edition of Hyderabad's flagship breast cancer awareness initiative the Pink Power Run 2.0.
The event was graced by the presence of Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, herself a breast cancer survivor, and Miss Asia 2025, Krishnan Gravidez. Both participated in the event, sharing powerful messages of hope and support and committing to run together with thousands of others on September 28, 2025.
Steve Morley director of Miss World, Dr. Pragnya Chigurupati senior Breast Oncologist and Sayeeda Abrar fitness professional were also participated in the event.
The Pink Power Run is far more than just a sporting event this is a community movement to encourage early breast cancer detection, promote preventive health check-ups, and stand together with survivors. This year’s run welcomes participants in 10K, 5K, and 3K categories, with a special focus on including rural women runners and bridging the urban–rural health awareness gap.
The launch was marked by inspirational speeches, the unveiling of the new Pink Power Run jersey and medal, and the official release of the PPR 2.0 campaign film.
