Maharashtra's journey towards a greener future just got a boost! MEIL has successfully commissioned its 9th and 10th solar power plants under the PM KUSUM scheme, marking a significant milestone in the state's renewable energy landscape.
MEIL is working towards Maharashtra's cleaner and greener future, one solar power plant at a time. The state's latest solar portfolio additions are located in Bijawadi Village, Satara District, and Hiwadi Taluka of Jalna District. With 5 MW and 6 MW capacities, these plants are designed to generate clean energy and reduce the state's farmers' reliance on fossil fuels.
But what's truly remarkable about these plants is the speed at which they were commissioned. The 10th plant, in particular, was established in record time, displaying MEIL's commitment to driving sustainable growth and our ability to deliver projects efficiently.
These solar power plants are part of the establishment of 404 solar plants across nine districts in Maharashtra, generating a whopping 1880 million units of clean energy annually. This will reduce the state's carbon footprint and provide a reliable power source to farmers, helping to boost agricultural productivity and contribute to the state's economic growth.
These plants are designed with the latest technology, including high-efficiency solar panels and advanced inverters. This ensures that the plants operate at maximum efficiency, generating the maximum amount of clean energy possible.
