Six Laning of Renigunta-Naidupeta highway
Renigunta to Naidupeta highway

The MEIL is taking part in a mission to modernize National Highways in India. It is upgrading several highways across the country. In Andhra Pradesh, the company has taken up the work of six lanes of the existing four-lane National Highway 71 between Renigunta and Naidupeta. This highway is a crucial link connecting Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu in South India. It passes through several towns and cities, including famous temple towns Tirupati and Srikalahasti. It also connects to Bangalore and Chennai highways on either side.

The company is executing this project under Bharatmala Pariyojna for the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The 6-laning of the highway will bring several benefits, including improved connectivity, faster travel times, reduced traffic congestion, and increased regional economic growth. Our workforce is carrying out the construction works of this highway briskly. Soon people can have happy rides on the highway.

MEIL’s scope of work for Longevity

MEIL is executing this 57-km six lane stretch of NH-71 under the Hybrid Annuity Mode.  The expansion involves various critical components, including the construction of service roads, 3 road over bridges, 5 vehicular underpasses, 7 flyovers, 15 bridges (major and minor) and 56.827 km length of drains. The pavement design, with a focus on flexibility and efficiency, ensures the highway's longevity and durability.

Seamless Connectivity

As a key player in this expansive project, MEIL's significant contributions envisions a future where regional connectivity is seamless, religious pilgrimages are easily accessible, and traffic concerns are relegated to the past.
